Meet Lighthouse Founders
Maxwell and Gustavo started Lighthouse to help students explore careers firsthand through company visits.

Ana P.
Our Journey
Lighthouse was born out of a shared frustration felt by its founders, Maxwell and Gustavo. Like many of their peers, they found themselves at a crossroads during their final years of high school, facing significant pressure to commit to a career path they had never actually experienced.
Every interaction with college counselors led back to the same unanswered question: "What do you want to study?" They realized that the traditional education system expects students to choose a lifelong career based on brochures and hearsay, rather than reality. They observed that while the pressure to "just know" your future is universal, the opportunity to actually test that future is rare.
Recognizing that most students feel equally uncertain, they founded Lighthouse to bridge the gap between classroom theory and professional reality. Their mission is to replace the "guessing game" of career counseling with high-impact, hands-on exposure, allowing students to make informed decisions based on lived experience rather than academic pressure.
Both still in high school, they lead with passion and purpose.
